Macinac Bridge at St.Ignace :: 2012 Venue

Built in 1957, the Macinac Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the Western Hemisphere, and the 3rd longest in the world. Connecting lower Michigan - the "boxing glove" to the Upper Peninsula ["Finnmerica"] the bridge is subjected to some pretty awful conditions. It is always windy, and often frozen.

Looking at this webcam will give you an idea of what is going on in St. Ignace right now.
